In celebration of Durango’s cowboy heritage and our annual ‘Cowboy Poetry Gathering’ event, October 1-4, we are showing over 30 paintings by internationally recognized artist, Bob Canning. His legendary colorful cowboys are sought after by many western art collectors who like a contemporary take on the ‘old working cowboy’.

Magical Landscapes--Show of New Works by Jami Tobey

Jami Tobey’s landscapes of acrylics on canvas highlighted with strokes of gold metallic ink are not easy to categorize. Her swirling clouds, vast skies, and dancing trees take on an almost magical quality. “Trees are hopeful and a symbol of growth.” She is a featured artist in Southwest Art Magazine, November 2009 issue.
